Well, tonight was supposed to be D&D night. Too bad the DM decided to add a bunch of new players tonight, so we didn't get anything done. And then, two of the players were supposed to go get some Dr. Pepper, but one decided to stop and get her tongue pierced on the way so the DP didn't get back very fast. Being as how nothing was happening and wasn't likely to for some time, I chose to depart. This rather sucks, because now it's been two weeks since I played last, and I'm really wanting a D&D fix. Anyway, hopefully next week, everyone will have their heads on straight and I'll be able to play. At least a little bit.

Not been saying much recently, I guess. Not been a lot to say.

But, I did buy a new camera. It's a Kodak Z760 digital, and it's pretty nice. Wal-Mart, under $300. I've not taken many pictures with it yet, but I intend to take a few.

I am /so/ confused. For three days I've been pissed because I couldn't connect to AD3 (telnet://stormbringer.sysconn.com port 7000). Today, I retyped the address into the connection properties, and it worked. THe thing is, I think my client didn't bother to resolve the address, so when the IP changed (and it did, I checked), it was still trying to connect to the old IP, and of course it could not find it.

So the moral of the story is, make sure your MU* client isn't using a cached IP address if you can't connect to a server, but the server really is there.

Okay, I'm pissed now. Two of my favorite online homes aren't reachable this morning... and I've got shit to do on both of them, so where the fuck do the get off being down, huh? *leSigh* *wink*

I'm up again. Actually, I've been up for almost an hour and a half now, and even fed myself -- yep, I can do that, now. Feel proud of me. Anywho, that's the news for this evening, such as it is. RP time til work.

Well, I've been up for almost 28 hours now. I'm gonna finish one particular scene, and then gonna crash. Gotta work tonight, so 14 hours or so of sleep will do me good, I'm sure.
